Do wintering conditions in Africa constrain migratory birds’ ability to respond to climate change? This field-ecological research and artist-in-residency in Ivory Coast – funded by the National Geographic Society Explorer grant – explored this question. By invitation of biologist Janne Ouwehand I joined the expedition to Comoe Park where we collaborated with local staff, villagers and field biologists. We produced a podcast episode and a route drawing tool for public outreach purposes.
